Fast forward a couple of years or so
I still made the same mistakes I did during the age of Four Loko

I was stressed out to the gills
from shopping mall shootings to shopping mall bills
I always thought that work would set me free

that she's invited to my soiree at the Lazy J Ranch

Now I'm on Amazon priming my life up into fragments
I bought eight Jason movies and a pair Nike Air Maxes

I hope that they get here soon
because I can't keep doing all this howling at the moon
I'm trying hard not to shed my fur just yet

I'm still filled with hubris like the days of the DJ turntables
I try to self-mythologize, turn it all into a fable

But as a young teenage boy
I believed in records, I thought they'd fill the void
